  12. 4-5 green chillies
  13. 1 cup mint
  14. 1 cup coriander
  15. 3 tbs ginger garlic paste
  16. 5-6 tbs oil
  17. 2 tbs ghee
  18. to taste Salt
  19. 1/2 cup oil fr frying potatoes
  20. 2 drops Orange food colour

Steps to make to make Bombay Biryani

  1. Cut potatoes in 4 pieces. And fry into oil.
  2. In cooker add oil then little fried onion, ginger garlic,salt then meat and stir on high heat.
  3. When the meat changes the colour add all dry masala, curd, little mint and coriander and cover the lid and cook till mutton cooks.
  4. When mutton cooks add crushed onion, green chillies and fried potatoes mix well and cook for 1-2 mins.
  5. Boil water by adding lite oil, mint and coriander leaves, whole garam masala, and lemon juice.
  6. When the oil starts boiling add soaked rice then cook till 80%.Drain the water and keep aside.
  7. Take a vessel add mutton masala in the down layer then keep tomatoes sprinkle fried onion, mint and coriander.
  8. Then spread the rice layer then food colour, fried onion, mint coriander and ghee on top. Keep on dum fir 10-15 mins. When the aroma comes switch off the gas and let it be like that only. Open the lid after 10-15 mins later.
  9. While serving garnish with Soaked Almonds, serve with salad and raita.
