- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp fennel seeds

- Chickpea mix:
- 200 gm Boiled chickpeas(chhole)
- 2 tsp oil
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- leaves Coriander
- to taste Salt
- For serving:
- Green chutney
- Tamarind chutney
- Onions
- Sev
- Dahi/curd
- Chickpea mix leftover
Instructions to make to make Chickpea Stuffed Aloo tikki
- Take a bowl. Add Boiled potatoes, salt, lemon juice, mint leaves, rice flour, green chilli, chilli flakes etc. Mentioned above. Mix everything well to form a dough.



- Dry roast cumin seeds, fennel seeds and carom seeds on a pan till it turns aromatic and grind this mixture coarsely. Keep aside


- Take a pan. Add 2 tsp oil and add boiled chickpeas. Add all the dry spices red chilli, turmeric powder, coriander powder, coriander leaves and cook for 5 mins. Keep this stuffing aside.


- Take potato mixture. Flatten mix on hands. Place 1 tsp stuffing. Grease hands with oil and carefully shape into tikkis.



- Fry tikkis in hot oil till golden brown and crispy.



- Serve with Dahi, green chutney, imli chutney, finely chopped onions, sev, coriander leaves, salt, pepper and some left over chickpeas. Enjoy this super yummy dish with your friends and family.
