An instant 10 minutes wheat flour dosa is another healthy variation of the delicious South Indian dosa.
Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Godhumai Dosa:
- For potato filling
- 4 boiled potatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 " piece ginger
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 2 tb sp peanuts
- 1 Green chilli
- 1 tb sp desiccated coconut powder
- 4-6 curry leaves
- To taste salt
- 1/2 tsp red chilli
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tb sp cooking oil
- 1/2 tsp coriander seeds powder
- For dosa batter
- 1 bowl wheat flour
- 1/2 bowl rice flour
- 1 tb sp semolina
- 1/2 bowl curd
- 3 bowls water
- To taste salt
- 1 onion
- 1 Green chilli
- 8-10 curry leaves
- 1 tb sp cooking oil for greasing
Instructions to make to make Godhumai Dosa
- Heat oil in a karahi and roast peanuts and remove in a plate. Now put cumin seeds and mustard seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put finely chopped onions and ginger and fry till translucent. Add curry leaves and green chilli. Add peanuts and mashed potatoes and salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander seeds powder and saute for 2 minutes.



- Add dessicated coconut powder and mix well. Switch off the flame.

- Add wheat flour, semolina and rice flour in a mixing bowl and add salt and red chilli powder and curd. Mix well. Now add 1 bowl of water and mix carefully avoiding formation of lumps.


- Now add remaining 2 bowls of water and mix. The batter should be of pouring consistency. Add chopped onion,curry leaves, green chilli and mix.

- Now heat a griddle and brush with a little cooking Oil and pour batter starting from centre to sides in circulation motion. Pour a few drops of cooking Oil around dosa. Cook for 2 minutes. Flip the side and roast from other side also. Likewise make all the dosas.


- Serve hot with potato filling.
